Who Will Hide You

 Who Will Hide You

A friend of mine sent me a Warren Buffett video lecture
VID-20210115-WA0000
.mp4
. In the video he talks about being a very rich person. Buffett states that now he is a senior, he himself lives like a normal person that lives a normal life like everyone else except that he spends more money. He goes on to tell this story:

"A good Jewish friend of mine survived the Holocaust. She did so because someone found a way to hide her from the Nazi. Later in life she realized that the value of her life was not money, but does she have friends and family that would "Hide Her."

Buffett goes on to say that as he gets older he realizes what's most important is having love ones Who Would Hide Him. He also states that he knows many billionaires that don't have anyone in their lives that would Hide Them (can you spell TRUMP).

Sooo, I sent the video to my dear friends and guess what, they wrote me back stating: "I will Hide You."

Sooo, I ask all of you;

Who Will Hide You

Fall Of 2021

 Fall Of 2021

I received my first COVID shot last week. Now I'm having trouble getting scheduled for my second shot. I have until March 30th so I should be able to get it by then. Now that we have a new Administration, I truly believe by this summer a majority of the people who want the shot will be able to get it - HOOORAY!!!

Sooo, by the fall of 2021 I'm predicting the following:

*  The NFL season starts in September. There will be fans in the stands. Maybe not 60,000 as usual, but at least 30,000 to 40,000

* In September almost all the stores will be open and restaurants will be allowed at least 60% to 80% capacity.

* In October flights from this country to Europe and other safe locations.

* In October cruise ships will be operating at 60% to 70% capacity or more

* In October kids will be knocking on your door and saying: "TRICK OR TREAT"

* November will be the best Thanksgiving ever. Best friends will be having parties. Friends and relatives will be flying in to celebrate. We all will be giving thanks for getting through the Pandemic and thinking about a normal life again.

* Christmas and Hanukah will be so much fun. Friends, family and KIDS, KIDS, KIDS

* By December the economy will be back to 90% maybe 100%

But, do you know what's the best part of the fall of 2021;

I'll Be Able To HUG and KISS The People I love

My Way

 My Way

The other day I listened again to the song My Way. I then went online and found the lyrics and realized many of the words reminded me of the life I've led. This is what the lyrics meant to me.

Regrets, I've had a few,
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do and saw it through without exemption.
And I planned each charted course, each careful step along life's by way
And more, much more than this, I did it my way.

Yes, I've had a few regrets, but overall those regrets did not stop me from getting the life I deserve. I did what I had to do to fix the things I've broken. I had a plan for my life. I loved my parents, but I wanted a better life than they. I choose the career I loved and took demotions, in my companies, to jobs that paid less, but, made me happy. I made very tough decisions in my personal life for happiness.

Yes, there were times, I'm sure you knew,
When I bit off more than I could chew.
But through it all, when there was doubt,
I ate it up and spit it out.
I faced it all and I stood tall and did it my way.

Reading these words over and over again while I was looking back on the life I've led rang true to me. I survived the mistakes I've made. I pushed my life forward when I could have just accepted the life I had. I overcame my doubts even though those doubts scared the crap out of me.

I've loved, I've laughed, I cried
I've had my fill, my share of losing.
And now, as tears subside, I find it all so amusing.
Just to think I did all that
And may I say, not in a shy way,
Oh, no, oh, no, not me, I did it my way

I've had a very interesting life. I still have an interesting life. I've had the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat. I've loved and laughed and cried, but through it all I never stopped loving life.

For what is a man, what has he got?
If not himself, then he has not
To say the things he truly feels and not the words of one who kneels
The record shows I took the blows and did it my way.

To say the things he truly feels and not the words of one who kneels
The record shows i took the blows and did it my, my way.

What more can I say? The words above say it all.

My Way
