Trust Me

 Trust Me

Trust me - You can trust me - What! you don't trust me - You trust her over me - If not me then who can you trust - I don't trust any of them - You said you trust me so why are you asking me all these questions - I trust you with all my heart - She is only a friend, please trust me on that.

WOW, that a lot of trust. How many times have you heard those words on TV or in the movies? Has someone you know or love said those words to you? Have you said those words to someone else?

Here's what I believe is the meaning of those words:

* You can trust me.

When I hear those words, I immediately become suspicious. Is he saying you thinks he is not trustworthy therefore he has to tell you he is?

* What! you don't trust me.

This person is throwing the trust issue right back at you. This is call deflection.

* You trust her over me.

Again deflection. Putting you on the defense. I wouldn't believe a word he is saying.

* If not me then who can you trust?

Is she saying that everybody you know is not trustworthy? Is she believing you are so attached to her that you have to believe she is telling the truth. This happens to people who are not sure of themselves. The truth is the person you have to trust the most is yourself?

* You said you trust me so why are you asking me all these questions?

Deflection - deflection - deflection. He knows you are asking these questions because you don't believe him and he is trying his best to not answer any of your question.

* She is only a friend, please trust me on that.

Is he cheating on you - DUH!!!

Trust is one of my must-haves in any person I become friends with. Trust has to be earned. Without trust, how can you count on this person? Without trust, how can believe anything that person says?

I'm telling you everything I've said above is true:

Trust Me

Not Enough Love in the World

Not Enough Love in the World

Not Enough Love in the World By

Don Henley
Edited By Kenny Felderstein

Sometimes I wonder where it is love goes
I don't know if even Heaven knows

The world has been standing in the shadow
Or blocking the light
We all have been trying, but could not make it right

There's just not enough love in the world

I know the outside world hurts us so bad
They don't know the damage they can do,
And it makes us so sad
How we knock each other down just like
Children on a playground

Sometimes it's so hard to smile
For the world, for the camera
And still have something left
We don't have to prove nothin' to nobody
We Just need to take good care of ourselves
The outside world is not easy to live with
I know that it's true
Like you, I'm no picnic either, and
That's one of the things that makes us blue
Time will come around when we all need to settle down
But, you and I Got to get off this merry-go-round

We all have to decide for ourselves
That loving unconditionally is the only way
If we all can just do that, it will make our day

We can't change the outside world
But, we can change who we are
Sooo, I'm asking all to start now raising the bar

There's just not enough love in the world

The Future's So Bright, I Gotta Wear Shades

 The Future's So Bright, I Gotta Wear Shades

"The Future's So Bright, I Gotta Wear Shades" - Justin Herbert NFL Rookie of the year.

My wife and I just got our two COVID shots. Every week more shots are becoming available. Vegas is slowly opening up. Some places are allowed 50% capacity. Ellen and I plan to go to a restaurant this week (outdoor for us). That will be the first time in a very, very long time - HOOORAY!!!

I'm starting to believe my blog last week regarding the fall of 2021 will become true. It's starting to feel like the old joke my father told me;

"A friend of mine asked me: "why do you let your wife hit you over the head every day" I replied: "because it feels so good when she stops."

My readers know that I write about "appreciation." Many people don't appreciate things until something is taken away from them. Well, this virus has taken normal life away from us. When (not if) we get back to normal, most will appreciate the return;

"it will feel so good when it stops."

My mentality is to appreciate something every day. When I get to the restaurant this week, I will appreciate it. When I can hug someone, I will appreciate it.

Sooo, to all of you, why not start appreciating today - not wait until the virus is over. Your wellbeing will much, much better if you do as I suggested.

As for me;
