WAR
Many years ago, The Temptations song "WAR" had the line "WAR, what is it good for - absolute nothing." That was then and the world is still at WAR.
WAR on nations, WAR on countries. WAR on tariffs, WAR on Spanish people, WAR on Jews, WAR on California, WAR on Universities and WAR on the United States Far right and the Far left. "WAR, what is it good for - absolutely nothing."
I don't get it. Haven't we learned from all the WARs of the past. What's it all about? Well, DAH, it's all about power, control, money, Oil, and religion. The confusing part is that the world has enough Oil, money and power. Does the United States need more power? Does Russia need more power? Does any country that's at WAR need more power? "WAR, what is it good for - absolutely nothing."
Why are there religious WARs? I was raised to believe religion was all about love, doing right by others, Caring for others, belief in a GOD that only has love in his/her heart and who doesn't want others killing each other. Do those countries/nations having religious WARs not believe in a loving GOD who doesn't want all the killing? "WAR, what is it good for - absolutely nothing."
Well, if we don't want any WAR we can March, be heard via media and most of all VOTE. Within ourselves, we have to stop fighting with others over religion, politics, money, our spouse and relatives, ETC. Yes, if we care about people and ourselves, we can stop fighting. The reason we NEED to stop is because;
"WAR, what is it good for - absolutely nothing."
