How many times have you watched a movie or a TV show or even reading a book where someone gets' beat-up and left for dead? When that happens, someone always comes to the rescue and says to that person - Are You OK?

The beat-up person always responds: "I'm OK." Well, If I were that person, I would reply: Fuck no, I'm not OK - do I look OK? If you think that only happens in the movies - guess again. The other day, I hit the top of my head on my medicine cabinet. My wife was there and the first words out of her mouth was - Are You OK? Hell no, I'm not OK. My head hurts like hell and it's bleeding. 

It's not like my wife was being inconsiderate, She was just repeating what everyone I know (including her parents) says. It's just a normal reaction.

To the person who is in pain, Are You OK, seems like they don't give a shit and that makes them angry. To the person saying Are You OK, it's just their way of say I'm concerned about you. 

Sooo, when that happens to you, take a step back and appreciate that the person saying Are You OK cares a great deal about you. If you are the person saying, Are You OK, STOP IT! Just say: "that looks really bad, what can I do to help you?" Or, you can say something positive like: Well at least you're not dead.

If you think stop saying, Are You OK is easy, think again. It's a learned response. It will take many tries before you get the right words for the situation. The wrong words are;

If you want to win over that girl or boy, you gotta have Personality. If you want to be the one with your friends and family, you gotta have Personality. If you want to be the best you can be, you gotta have Personality.

Hay! smart ass, if I Ain't got it, then how do I get it. Believe it or not, you don't have to get it because you already have it. Personality is inside you. Most of us had a great Personality when we were very young. Somehow, the difficulties of life have dragged it out of you. If so, get connected to that little kid again.

During the course of your life, you have been around a few (maybe many) people who have a great Personality. You've absorbed that person's Personality because you were probably attracted to that person. 

People like people that have a great Personality. That person's Personality is in you. Sooo, dig deep and let it out. What's the worst that can happen. For sure, you won't die and the people who love you will still love you.

Once you have it, you'll love yourself even more.

The NFL Tampa Bay Buccaneers needed a score to cement a Super Bowl win. You could see in eyes of Tom Brady the Greatest Of All Time (GOAT) quarterback that he was going to win the game. What did I see in his eyes - Passion

As Rod Stewart says in his song "Passion" "A Lotta People Ain't Got Passion." The dictionary definition of Passion is all about love and sex. However, one line of that definition makes more sense to me: 

"Any powerful or compelling emotion or feeling."

 

 Tom Brady has a Passion for football. Even more, his Passion for winning is why he has won six Super Bowls. I have a Passion for writing. I have a Passion for mentoring people. I have a Passion for sports. I have a Passion for LIFE! 

Some people have a Passion for shopping. Some have a Passion for helping others. It doesn't matter what your Passion is - what matters is that you have Passion in your life.
