My Ellen
It was a regular Monday. Ellen got up, took a shower, went to play Mahjong with friends at noon. At 3 we went to the movies with friends. 15 minutes into the movie, My Ellen told me she didn't feel good and went to the bathroom. 10 minutes later, she did not return, and I went to find her. She was sitting on a sofa and said she needed to leave.
She was driving home when she said she needed to go to the hospital. We were 5 minutes away from the hospital when she blacked out while driving. I couldn't get to the brake to stop the car, so I took the steering wheel and turned up into a bunch of bushes.
The ambulance came and took her to the hospital. When she got to the hospital she died in the ER, but they were able to revive her. She had a heart attack because of a major blockage in one artery. They had to open her up in the OR and she died again. This time it took 10 minutes to revive her.
I saw her that night, but she was not breathing on her own and some of her organs were shutting down. The next day I talked to the doctor, and he said they would do everything they could to keep her alive. However, he also said she might not make it in 24 hours.
My Ellen died at 1:50am Wednesday morning.
Sooo, many friends, family and people she just met, loved My Ellen. Words can't describe how much I loved her and how much she made my life better and happier. She came into my life at a time I needed someone like her the most. I had 36 wonderful years with My Ellen.
There are so many things I'll miss about her. As some of you know, My Ellen was a great cook. I guess I'll never eat that good again (I can't even fry and egg). Who is going to cut my hair? Who is going to put me in my place when I act out? Who is going to hug me when I'm down? Who is going to...............?
Everyone who is reading this blog and knew Ellen, are happy she came into their lives. Her positive energy and love of life was felt by all of us. Remember her with a big smile on your face.
I'm so sad right now. Talking and texting to all of my well-wishers makes me sadder. Sooo, please give me a few days before contacting me. My good friends, Cindy and Jack are taking good care of me.
In a few days I will be back living life (as she would want me). I love life and will always love life. I feel love from friends and family so I'm not alone.
I hope all of you will now take the time to have a better appreciation of the people you love and the ones that love you. I hope all of you will now put aside the problems in your life and focus on the great stuff life has to give you.
I love you all, Kenny
