Witch Life Are You Leading Today

Witch Life Plan Are You Leading Today

"We must be willing to get rid of the life we've planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us."  Joseph Cambell.

As we grow up, we plan our life. This is especially true when we're young. Ask a ten-year-old what he wants to be when he grows up and he may say, "I want to be a fireman." That's his plan. Ask a twenty-year-old the same question and she may say, "I want to be a CEO of a company or I want to be rich and famous." That's her plan.

Usually, those plans don't happen, but some of us still live in the "what if." When we're much older and settled in, we accept the plan we are living now. By doing so, we stop seeking the life that is waiting for us.

OK, you're probably going to say, "what life is waiting for me?" "This is my life." It's been my life for many years and I don't see a change in my future. I say, "who made this life plan?" "Was it you or somebody else?" "Did you just fall into it and don't know how you got into this fine mess?"

If your current plan is working for you don't change it (as my father always said, "if it ain't broke don't fix it." I'm one of the few who loves my life's plan just the way it is. Is that YOU?

If it wasn't you who made the current plan your living, I suggest you make a new plan.

"Well, how the hell am I going to do that?"

There is only one sure way - make a decision and/or take a risk. Leaving a spouse is a major decision and could be a significant risk. Changing jobs is a major decision and could be a significant risk. Moving to a new town, city, state or even country is a major decision and could be a significant risk.

I say, take the risk. Make the decision. Change you plans for YOUR happiness not for anyone else's happiness. I've said this many times in my blogs:

"Happiness Is The Forgotten Ingredient In Life. Life Without Happiness Is Half A Life."
