Is Love What You Want The Most
Who doesn't want love? Believe it or not, many people. I wrote a blog regarding my definition of Love:
* Ellen, knowing that I have a bad back, always gives me the most conferrable place to be on the sofa even those she has a not-so-great back herself.
* Last week we purchased a small whiteboard to hang in the kitchen. The main purpose is to write down our shopping list. The first night, when she was in bed, I wrote on the board: "I LUB YOU." In case you don't know what LUB is, It's my highest definition of LOVE. It's LOVE times 10.
The next morning, when she came into the kitchen, she had a smile on her face that made me very happy. Then, the next morning I came into the kitchen there were the words: "I LUB YOU MORE." That made me feel LOVED.
* When our dog ZITA was alive, she would wait for us at the door. When we came in, she would run to us and hug and kiss us. You could see the LOVE in her eyes.
Before we came into the house, we looked forward to seeing her so much she could see the LOVE in our eyes.
* We LOVE our cousins and dear friends so much that when they have troubles, we hurt inside. When they are really happy, we feel even more LOVE of them.
You see, LOVE can't be defined by words. Saying: I LOVE YOU," is great and you should do it as often as possible, but the words are meaningless unless your actions truly show your Love
Many people are in a loveless marriage. Many people are with someone only for companionship. Many people are with someone for financial reasons. Many people stay with a spouse because they think the kids will suffer. Trust me, those people are not happy.
How many people are seeking Love? In today's society, not enough. Some go through life never getting the love they deserve. Some are looking for hook-ups not feelings of love. Some are looking for a sugar daddy or a rich woman not someone who gives them my definition of Love. Some have so heavy a heart that they can't let love in. Some just don't give a shit.
I had my Love, but for me it's not over. I know what a loving relationship is all about. I know the joy of being in love. I know how happy it makes me to have someone that loves me back. I also had relationships where there was no love - was I happy - HELL NO!
I divorced twice to find Love. I got it right the third time. Now I'm searching again and I'm not going to stop searching until I get the Love I deserve. What about YOU?
Being loved is a wonderful feeling. Don't just wait for it to come. Go after it - no I say, demand it. If you're just going through the motions, or for the life of me I can't understand, you don't want it. Or you don't believe you'll ever get it:
