What Is Your Legacy
I've published five books (you can get them on Amazon). I didn't write them to become rich and famous. Guess what, I didn't get rich and famous. I wrote them for three reasons.
One, because it's a challenge. I love being productive. Doing something I've never done before makes me happy. I reread them just to pat myself on the back - job well done. Kenny, you did something you never thought you could or would do.
Two, to exercise the right side of my brain. I'm very left brained (logical to a fault). I've worked in jobs that required creativity, but I relied on others. When I see it, I'll know if it's right and good. However, I can't see it until it's complete.
To fill in my deficiencies, I have always attached myself to creative people who can see it before it's done. I admire those people because they have a large field of view. They have what I'll call "spaceuall" vision. They see what it could be while I see what it is.
Writing forced me to see what the story was going to be. Even then and because of my logical left, I needed to make a project draft that included what was going to happen in the beginning, what was going to happen in the middle and what was going to happen in the ending.
True Creative writers don't need to do those three steps. They see the book "spaceually" and start writing. The story drags them along without knowing for sure what's going to happen next. That capability is rare. Unless that's you, start with the three outlines.
The Third and most important to me. I wanted to leave something behind. Yes, I'll leave my ashes behind, but nobody will know me from my ashes. My books give you in-site about me. My two business books let you know what I've learned in my many years in business.
My novel (that was the hardest to write and the most rewarding) is a lot about my life fantasies.
The last two books ("Happiness, The Forgotten Ingredient Book One and Two)" are all about my journey to find happiness in my life and how that journey might improve happiness in your life.
BTW, those two books only include 200 of my blogs. Since then, I've written over 400 more. I'm not done writing more blogs and I even have an outline of another novel called "For The Good Of The People."
The beginning, "people cure all viruses." The middle, "Companies go out of business, many people lose jobs and the people who cured the viruses are under attack." The ending, "a new strain of viruses come out, but the people who cured the last one decide not to cure these viruses " For The Good Of The People."
Because Of My Writing, I Now Have A Legacy. What Will You Leave Behind?
