I like this definition:

A stupid person doesn’t have much intelligence or imagination, and they go through life making decisions that seem to lack all common sense. If you’ve got a brain but you don’t use it, you might be a bit stupid.

A retarded person or a mentally challenged person is NOT stupid. They try their best to use their best judgment: however their impaired brain fails them. A person who has a brain fart is not stupid. They just had a onetime event where they hit themselves in the forehead and say: "what was I thinking."


A stupid person is someone who does the same stupid thing over and over again and expects a different result. A politician who get thrown out of office because he does something stupid of a sexual nature and then tries to run for office much later and does the exact same stupid thing, is a very stupid person. Even more stupid are the people who would consider voting for him.


A very rich sports person, movie person or business person who goes to a bar at two in the morning, gets drunk, gets into his car and either smashes into something or kills someone is really stupid. Not only have they hurt someone, they have ruined their career and the wealth that goes with it.


My wife and I have always said that if we hit the lottery, the first thing we would do is get a driver so we would never have to drive after we've had a few drinks. Why would any rich person risk everything driving drunk? The answer is they're STUPID!


A person who grew up in the slums, becomes a bang banger, goes on to excel in sports signs a multimillion dollar professional sports contract and never leaves his gang banging ways, is way stupid. These people eventually wind up beating someone (including their girlfriend or wife) up or killing someone.


Even though they now have a lot of money, they don't have the common sense to get out of the neighbor and their gang banging friends. They know by doing bad things they will lose their career, their money and most likely their freedom. How stupid are they - Mondo STUPID!


A famous person who is a big name in the media business decides to do drugs or not pay his or her taxes, is the definition of stupid. They not only risk their fame and their wealth, they risk their life or their freedom. What can we say about this person? The answer is simple STUPID, STUPID and more STUPID!!!


However, a person who does steroids so they can hit a lot of home runs and sign a major league contract for more than $100,000,000 is NOT stupid. So what if they get caught years later and become a pariah in baseball. So what if they lose some of that money because they might get a short suspension. Without the steroids they might not even make the ball club or only make a few million in their short career. How can you call this person stupid when they have enough money to live a life full of options.


I know I always preach that money should not drive us, but I have also said that money is freedom of choice. The more money you have the more choices you can make. Money by itself will not make you happy. However, it's a lot easier to become happy when you have lots of choices. If you use the money to make the right choices (the ones that make you happy) you'll go on to a wonderful life. But, if you use the money to make choices that don't bring you happiness (like using the money to just make more money) YOU ARE STUPID!!!!!


In the movie Forrest Gump, Tom Hanks says: "stupid is as stupid does." Think about that. Do you take a step back before words come out of your mouth so you won't say something stupid? Do you plan before you build so you won't screw it up? Do you spend your life always saying: "I coulda done that or I shoulda done that?" 


Except for the mentally challenged, we are not born stupid. Nobody goes through life never doing something stupid. We all have brain farts. We all have done something we regret.


However, if you don't use this fantastic brain you have or If you don't use your common sense or

If you keep doing stupid things because you don't care enough about your life and your happiness, YOU ARE A STUPID PERSON!
