Obese, too Thin And The Rest Of Us

Obese, Too Thin And The Rest Of Us

A large population in America is obese. There are many reasons.

  • Being poor and not being able to afford a healthy diet.

  • Living in a neighbor where you believe the length of your life seems to be in danger all the time. Therefor you say to yourself "what the f..k I'm eating that bacon cheese burger Wopper with lots of secret sauce, French fries and a milkshake. This makes, what life I have left, seem bearable.  My mouth is watering just writing about it.

  •  A physical or mental problem can play a significant role in being obese.
  • Daily stress can play a significant role in being obese.
  • I believe the most significant reason for being obese is not loving yourself. If you don't love, trust and/or respect yourself you will just eat what taste good. If you don't care about how you look, that Wopper is looking better and better. If you buy into the bullshit that people say "he is really fat, but he has a beautiful face, you're going to be obese the rest of you beautiful face life.

Being extremely thin can have some of the same reasons that make obese people who they are. However, there are thin people who never watch their diet, eat all day long and never gain weight. If those people are women, we call them "bitches." If those people are men we call them "healthy." Women really hate other women that never gain weight.

Then there are the rest of us. We watch our weight and diet the second we think we've gained two pounds. My focus is on my clothes. If my pants start getting tight I'm going to work at losing weight. The reason is simple. I'm too cheap to go out and buy a bigger size. I have more pants than I could ever use the rest of my life. I'm not about to throw them away.

Some of us have a different point of view. Those people have what they call "fat pants," "normal pants" and "thin pants." The problem with those people is they know they will never get thin enough to get into the thin pants, but they keep them in their closet just to torcher themselves.

Diet companies love those people. Many of those diet companies are owned by big pharmaceuticals.  The reason is they know the times when you have to go to the "fat pants," you're depressed. Therefore, they get you two ways. You go on their diet program and start taking their happy pills. If you stay depressed because you don't believe you're ever going back to "normal pants," they will still be making a shit load of money by selling you stronger happy pills.

There is nothing wrong with going on a diet. I have a friend that was obese and after two years of Jenny Craig he lost half his weight. He looks great and feels great. He's very physically active because he never wants to be that obese person again. He loves himself and he deserves it.

For the rest of us there are a few critical things you have to do to stay in your "normal pants."

  • Love yourself.
  • Be with people who love you just the way you are.
  • Work at a job that makes you happy. This can mean that the job is not so great, but it's a means to an end that makes you happy. As an example, the money you make at the job enables you to have a happy life outside your job.
  • Appreciate all that you have every day.
  • Eat right and work out (even if it's just a walk around the park) every day because you love yourself even more when you can fit into your "normal pants."

I love myself and work to stay in my "normal pants." The only thing that pisses me off is that as I get older my chest starts falling to my waist. Sooo, I wind up being the same weight, but my pants are getting tighter. I'm not going to get "fat pants," so I eat less and workout more.

I have a smile on my face because eating less and working out more is making me healthier. Being healthier will lead to a longer excellent quality of life which enables me to give out positive energy to the universe.

All of this happens just because I want to stay in my "normal pants." Therefore, don't spend your hard earned money on "fat pants." Do what you have to do to stay healthy enough to live a positive energy life in those "normal pants."
