HATE

HATE

Definition of Hate: "intense or passionate dislike"
Synonyms: "loathe, detestation, abomination."
Action: "revenge."

WOW, that's a lot of Hate and should not be confused with: "mad, angry, disappointed, or pissed off." Do I Hate cream spinach or do I just don't like it? Do I Hate someone or am I so angry at that person that I will never see them again? Do I Hate when someone says that I'm not good enough or does it just piss me off?

I have used the word "Hate" many times in my life. I'll bet you do the same. However, now that I understand the definition of "Hate" I may not use it ever again. It's such a negative and ugly word. It's such a destructive word. When I think about it, I really don't have an intense or passionate dislike of anybody or any thing.

I've always said that "Words Matter." Using that word now will make me feel dirty inside. Using that word doesn't make me a better person. Using that word doesn't serve me. I used to feel that having "Hate" for my EX wives because of how they hurt me, was a good thing. Now I realize that accepting who they were has giving me freedom. I never wanted revenge, I just wanted my freedom.

Let's take the word "Hate" out of our vocabulary. I'm not saying to replace it with love because that's not realistic. It's OK to not like something or someone, but holding on to that bone of "Hatred" will never make you a happier person.

HATE, WHAT IS IT GOOD FOR - ABSOLUTELY NOTHING
