Sex, As We Know It, Will Be A Thing Of The Past

Don't get alarmed, sex will be with us for a long, long time. I'm happy that everyone reading this blog will be long gone before Sex, As We Know It, Will Be A Thing Of The Past. 

Before Human Beings came on this earth, intercourse by manuals was needed to keep the species going. Evolution gave Humans a gift - an orgasm.  I'm not sure why we evolved that way, but I'm sure glad we did. However, early Man was the only Human getting an orgasm. Hit the woman over the head - uga-bugga and it was all over. 

Today, women expect a man to give them an orgasm. If they can't get a man to do it, they can do it to themselves. The idea of only having Sex to reproduce is a thing of the past unless you are so very religious that you're willing to give it up - UGH!!!!!

Today, women are in more control than they were when I was born (74 years ago). Unless a woman is a Sex addict, the more control women get the less Sex Man will get. You see, most men want Sex all the time (even I at 74). Women want it when they want it.

The women who want a child because of their desire to nurture, also don't want the pain of having a child. Believe me, if a man had to go through the pain of having a child there would be no people left. 

All of this has gotten me thinking about the far away future of Sex. In 1973 the Woody Allen movie Sleeper depicted a future where people no longer had Sex. If they wanted an orgasm, they would go into a machine call the Orgasmatron. Five minutes later they would come out of the Orgasmatron with a smile on their face.
An orgasm comes from the brain not the things down below. Those things are today's tools, but the actual orgasm comes from the brain. Therefore, I would not be surprised if twenty years from now some company makes an Orgasmatron like device for the masses. I know I would use it.

Today, we are making Human parts from DNA stem cells. We have already reproduced a sheep, called Holly, from DNA stem cells. How long will it be before we create a Human? Not just any Human, but a designer Human created for the person wanting a specific baby. 

It won't happen in our lifetime because political and religious leaders will stop it. However, I'm not so sure we can stop someone from a country that thinks it's a good idea. Even if it doesn't happen in our lifetime, when religion goes away and women take control, they will no longer want to go through the pain of childbirth and therefore, they will make it happen.

I for one, have always greatly enjoyed the entire process of making love. It would be a shame if love making went away, but when there is an Orgasmatron available and designer babies are available, who is to say:
